Anybody knows of software programs (either online or which need to be installed) for tournaments?

I know Larry has mentioned Omnipong on his blog once. I am looking for something at a very reduced scale than what Omnipong does. Just a couple of teams, first round is round-robin and then elimination.

I am organizing an event for a couple of friends for a weekend. Nothing elaborate at all here, and of course no one has ratings/rankings.

suggestions?

thanks.

Re: Software for mini-tournaments

Try ePonger (info is at www.imagin8.us).  It's intended for use by table tennis clubs who run regular leagues and want an easy way to manage ratings, assign players to groups, and create reports.  We built it for a local club (the Pittsburgh Oakland Table Tennis Club) a couple of years ago, and it's now in use at several clubs worldwide.  It's shareware -- pay for it if you like it.

Cheers,

Jeff
