banana flipping with LP's
I was goofing off on the robot and tried a couple of banana flips with my OX LP's. I was surprised when some of them went in. I later tried it in a match on short backspin serves to my forehand and went 2 for 2. I haven't worked on it since, but am thinking of developing it as a shot. Has anyone else tried it?
Re: banana flipping with LP's
It's relatively easy to attack backspin with long pips. There are two basic ways: either a regular drive (which would include a banana flip), or just bump the ball aggressively as if you were blocking it, and it'll go out aggressively with the incoming backspin now outgoing topspin.
