- Bill Haid, 1977-1984 (first USATT Executive Director).
- *Bob Tretheway, 1984-1990 (Program Director, but unofficially was ED).
- Scott Mathews, 1989-1991 (Acting ED/ED) A USATT intern right out of college when USATT fired Tretheway, Mathews was hired on the spot as "Acting Executive Director," in his early/mid 20s with no job experience and a non-TT player. At some point they dropped the "Acting" from his title.
- Kae Browning Rader, June 1, 1991 - 1994 (ED), changed USTTA to USATT, new logo, then left for higher USOC position.
- Paul Montville, June 1994 - Nov. 10 1997 (ED), left for higher USOC positions with Rugby and Boxing.
- Kevin Carlon, May 1998 - 1999 (ED).
- Linda Gleeson, early 1999 - July 6, 1999, (Acting ED), about six months, left for higher USOC position.
- *Ben Nisbet, July 6, 1999 - Nov. 30, 2000 (ED).
- Dwight Johnson, March 26, 2001 - March 18, 2002 (Acting ED until July, 2001, then ED).
- Ray Essick, March 19, 2002 - May 6, 2002 (ED), 49 days.
- *Clark Mitchell, Sept. 29, 2002 - March 2003 (ED), worked out of San Diego.
- *Doru Gheorghe, Apr. 8, 2003 - Aug. 17, 2007 (ED, also USA Women's Coach).
